Sullenwhitedevil chapter 10 . 4/19/2019
Really loved this chapter for simply due to the fact that your character practically called Shepard out on her really naive and just plain stupid thinking of everything is black and white and that it's her way or the highway aka her pride will not allow you to go against her word, personally I think it is stupid she is getting romantically attached to garrus while on a mission to save the Galaxy of all things which I think Parker about something like that earlier when thinking about the games and the romances then top that off while her feelings cloud her judgement to such an extent to where she punches Parker despite the fact that the captain injured you, liara, and nearly killed garrus and you saved his life and killed the guy who would practically get away with it and kill more people and then her pride won't allow herself to realize you are right that and thinking that she is always good or justified though I can see that eventually backfiring to where she decides to get more ruthless in situations that do not need it, all in all a very good chapter and honestly I don't know whether you intended this or not but after reading the part of Shepard basically punching Parker, I wanted to beat the crap out of Shepard myself, and honestly would have left after that and tried to save the galaxy myself by that point, and on Shepard and her feelings for garrus makes me respect Samara that much more due to the fact she can't let those get in the way of the mission in comparison to Shepard, the only issue of this chapter I have is him apologizing to Shepard when he really didn't do anything wrong especially when the captain of your ship is acting in a way deemed incompetent and just childish does not deserve respect at all of any kind, though the only thing I can think of for him to apologise is simply the hopenot to get kicked off of the ship though I don't know if that is what you were going for.
Guest chapter 2 . 12/2/2018
Classic mass effect fanfic. Aliens are so great. Taurians are ok for killing people on first contact. Anyone who doesn’t like aliens is racist like modern racists, lol. Get real.
mistbornlax chapter 31 . 10/28/2018
Hm...how would the Suns even know of the Conduit and how is it that only such a small STG-Force was sent to secure it? Seriously, I'd have sent a small fleet (at least one Dreadnought and supporting ships, probably mixed from all the - now 4 - council-races! Meaning an Asari-Dreadnought, 1-2 Human-Carriers and assorted ships from the Turians and Salarians) and I would have had that complex secured first (including the VI and the cryo-pods, those alone would be worth their weight in gold if they could be fixed and moved to another location to make a back-up survival location should civilization fall and then I'd have moved the conduit...I mean having small mass relays would make it almost impossible for the Reapers to take certain planets, even if they managed to shut down the big relays, which they did every cycle before Shepard (which compartmentalizes the galaxy, otherwise the Protheans might have stood a chance if they could pull together their fleets (their ships are after all better than what current species have and they have more, too probable - being an empire and all of that!))

ps: The Suns have Frigates? I thought military ships weren't allowed in private hands (with the Terminus being kind of the exception because they had Batarian support, not to mention that Aria could probably get anything she wants!)
mistbornlax chapter 23 . 10/28/2018
Hey,

great story so far, but why kill both Ash and Wrex? I mean I might be an exception, but Wrex never died for me, just like I didn't lose anybody during the "suicide"-mission either, no not even the first time! I made all the right choices (Legion for the hacking (most durable hacker on the squad, so that seemed logical), Samara (most powerful available biotic) for the barrier) and did all the loyalty missions (enjoyed them, too) ;)

I mean yeah I get that you are going for a bit more realism, but then again:

Killing the most interesting character (don't much care for Ash, I always save Kaidan - why? A biotic that can reach Asari levels (he is an L2-Implant and the only other human biotics we know that can fight at his level are Jack (Subject Zero), Biotic-Shepard and maybe Miranda...ok and Cora from MEA) is worth more than a simple soldier, even more so if said soldier comes without xenophobia which is a no go if you face extinction and need to work with aliens! Still, killing Wrex, especially like that? Damned! You killed KENNY, you bastard...seriously, why do that?) does not strike me as a good idea :(

Lol, space Nen
wow that's really cool chapter 1 . 8/29/2018
Honestly your description of the Australian outback is almost spot-on. You did, however, forget to mention the large amounts of drunk bogans screaming at 2 in the morning.
