This was so powerful and beautiful. I love how gentle Jacob was with Bella. He knew what her heart wanted, and he could see how hard she tried to be what he needed anyway. Wonderful job, but now I'm wondering if this was ever turned into a full length fic?

I'm still crying this is beautiful and heartbreaking and sweet and every good thing you can think of. This definitely is in my top 10 list beside bella and seth's Jailbait fanfic. Anyway its good.

This fic made me cry the whole time I read it. It's beautiful, the words that you used is just so emotional and descriptive, I could feel it in me.
The conflict of the heart and your destiny. Choosing between what you want and what you need to do. All of it, tugs my heart.
No matter how short the whole fic was, the characters were deep. I can feel and understand them. Embry's longing, Bella's internal struggle, and Jacob's unconditional love and understanding.
The depth. The emotion. And just everything about this. I love it!
Even with all the unanswered questions, this fic is fenomenal.

I'd love to see this turned into a multi-chapter fic... see how things turn out for Embry & Bella. This connection they have... fighting the imprint... what happens to Jacob... does he allow himself to move on and let Bella be happy too? Is there resentment, anger, jealousy? Will rage take over the hurt? Will Embry and Bella make it away from the reservation? Will they have children... how many? What will they do for a living? What about Charlie?

Just one thing though, a little more dialogue would have been good. *winks*

Thank you for sharing this tug-of-war fic. It was certainly an unusual take on the imprinting and I liked that about it a lot! :D

Wow. I've been choked up throughout this whole piece; it's just so sad, no matter which way she chose everyone would suffer. Those 'spirits' were cruel!
