This would be a great episode! As a matter of fact, I'm surprised the writers haven't considered it yet, especially when Sam was off his rocker because of Lucifer. Poor guy was so scrambled by the second shifter. I guess even great hunters have an off day in the research department :)

What a wonderful and tense story.
I knew that Sam was right about Dean being a shifter, but will admit for a moment there I started worrying that Sam had killed his brother by accident.
I loved the reunion scene when Dean found Sam at the cabin. This thought from Sam was perfect, 'I shouldn't believe him – I should at least cut him with silver first – but something in me responds instinctively to my big brother and before I know what I'm doing I'm hugging him with all my strength. He laughs breathlessly.'

Aw I loved this fic. So well done with Sam's grief over possibly killing his brother.
