Awesome, loved how Dean was in full on protective and caring mode as Sam got more and more sick from the trials.

awwww - I would have loved to see more of this hurting Sam and comforting Dean during the trials in the show - absolutely love it! And nice one that you pointed the "Sam not eating" thing out again - when you look at Sam now and how skinny he is, that's a good one ;)

God I have so missed Big Brother! Dean I thought we had lost him but then he came back with a vengence and it made my fangirl self all happy

This is my favorite trials story of them all. And ugh, I've been looking for SOOOO long.
You have perfect parts of hurt Sammy and caring Dean and I just really cannot articulate what it is about your writing style that makes it so beautiful for this. It's very... I don't know, base? It's good. It's really really good.
I love your characterization, and the entire plot and Sam being so weak and all... ugh this is great.

AWWWWWWWWW This is so sweet. I love protective big brother Dean taking care of sickly little brother Sam. As a big sister to my own pain in the ass little brother this trial story is killing me. I already know it ends badly. I'm complete;y prepared to have my box of tissue ready to go. This was too good and so sad.

You did a wonderful job writing a worried big brother Dean as he cared for an ill Sam.
I love the last line, 'For now though, there was no reason for Dean to keep worrying about things he couldn't do anything about but instead focus on what he could do and had been doing for as long as he could remember; looking out for Sammy.'

Taking care of Sammy, he can do that. Everything else? They'll see.

Dean cupped Sam's cheek in a sudden urge to let his brother know that he was still there and then smiled through blurry eyes when Sam leaned into his touch.

"You're gonna survive these trials, you hear me?" Dean said in a low voice and blinked back the sting of tears before leaving the room.

Just adore the Bat Cave...Dean coming in all Honey I'm home ...but where is honey? Sick and down and Dean is there for his Sammy in an instant! So big brother. Love how tender you have Dean here.
