Can’t wait for the epilogue :)

I started to read this years ago and loved it, it's always been in the back of my mind as my favourite kuro fic even though when I read it, it had no ending. I'm so glad I decided to come back to it now. This is a perfect ending and the clear transformation of your writing was evident as I read. Yeah, you've kind of broken my heart, but any other ending would have felt wrong somehow? I love it, my favourite kind of ending makes me ache and yet feel satisfied, and it's so rare to find that. Thank you so much for writing this, you have no idea how it's impacted me, especially rereading it during the hardest week of my life in a long time. This was also probably the fic that inspired much of my own kuro writing (most of which has since been wiped from the internet so no one ever has to lay their eyes on it lmao). I'm rambling, but really, truly, thank you for this story. It's been wonderful 3

Isn’t it her action classified as self-sacrifice rather than suicide? I mean she sacrificed herself to save Ciel. Also, I absolutely did not expect the last part. It was a pleasant surprise. But then I realised a bitter truth. Shinigamis don’t remember their mortal life. Or do they? I don’t know if I’m confusing this law with another anime.

I’ve just finished the book.
I’ve gotta say, it’s actually pretty legit like I could see this happening in canon.

I was abit weary with a Sebastian pairing because he is in fact kind of an immoral demon who probably doesn’t have the genuine capacity for feelings.

However, the character was portrayed in such a way that even though ‘weak’ she was strong and fought for her pride and future no matter what he did (realistically). And he didn’t fall head over heels in love with her either like some kinda psychopathic ‘mate’. (Still nice just not my preference) but more so he kinda... always had a small interest in her that slowly inclined. Played with her and was mischievous and curious but never coldly cruel.

I love how you captured each character so oddly perfectly, rarely OOC.

In fact, even how it ends gives a perfect opening to a second book which I would very much look forward to. It’s been nice reading this book, thanks for making it. I hope there’s a sequel. 3

I love the plot. The manga never touched on how and why grim Reapers become “reapers” so I’m happy you got creative with the concept! Amy will be an awesome grim reaper. And one day meet Sebastian again :)

Thats a pretty clever way of putting in your ooc into the world. Better than the over used time traveler plot. Though those can be good too.

Rereading this so many months later, it still makes me tear up. Amazing writing, can’t wait for the epilogue :)
