No I don’t believe him. He acted out because he was guilty. Guilt manifests into anger.

He was grooming her, basically. He knew what he was doing. He was out with other girls but still slowly reeling her in. He probably knew that if he came on too strong she’d be confused. Bella should have confronted him about the other girl though. Red flags already but hindsight is 20/20 when it comes to abusive relationships. You don’t realize the trap your falling into until it’s too late.

This was such a great story. I usually only read HEA but thought I would give it a try. Loved it.

This was mentioned in my Facebook group, The Twilight Fan Fiction Finders. I normally wouldn’t read something like this- I’m usually a HEA kinda gal, but I thought I’d give it a try. It was difficult to read, being a victim of domestic abuse and sexual assault, & knowing that our usually dear, sweet Edward was the one who had done it to her... it was very hard to swallow for me; but I did it. The story was well written, you did a good job with that aspect. I commend you on writing a fic that went against the grain. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I get this is just fiction. But these kind of things happen. The abused snaps and does something and most of the time the victim is the one who carries the guilt and the abuser takes now the place of the victim. I hate when that happens. So I was glad and sad at the same time with the ending. She deserved more but assholes like the Edward on your story complicate that.

WTF ending is this? They end up falling off a cliff and dying? F U
