Reviews for Mind the Gap
Black' Victor Cachat chapter 1 . 11/12/2014
Have to admit there is a lot of sense here.
Jason Barnett chapter 1 . 11/23/2013
now that they've come up with the weapon as genocidal as the Daleks are why would suddenly remembering the Doctor stop them.
Cat chapter 1 . 11/7/2013
Eh... it'd have the opposite effect. Recklessness. "We have grown stronger in fear of you."
Guest chapter 1 . 5/13/2013
This was actually mentioned in Dr. Who this week - the villain of the week points out that the Doctor's existence can be shown by mapping the gaps in records, the Doctor responds that he'll have to do something about that. Hopefully he does enough to stop the Daleks realising that there's a problem...
Guest chapter 1 . 4/10/2013
Could you change that gigaparsec to kiloparsec?
500 gigaparsecs is larger than the universe, whereas 500 kiloparsecs is about right for removing a handful of galaxies.
Kerjen chapter 1 . 4/2/2013
WOW! Brilliant! Very clever, original, and well thought out & written! Bravo!
BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 1 . 4/2/2013
And the really scary part, above and beyond the horror of realizing/being shown Clara's actions on behalf of the Doctor having one hell of a giant consequence? That this is something I could see being used as a season finale plotline quite easily and along the same lines...the Doctor, in the name of trying to protect other by getting the Universe to forget him, just cost the lives of billions as the Universe's biggest genocidal maniacs decide they need a giant space moat to keep the nasty boogeyman who has done so much damage to them away long enough to mount a defence. The Doctor just can't win...and you make that revelation oh so juicy, Adrian ;D
SonicTeamFreeWill chapter 1 . 3/31/2013
oooooh nice, very nice. Evil. Dark. But I loved it. Very "When you sailed off to see the stars all those years ago..."
S058 chapter 1 . 3/30/2013
And this is why one never, ever, EVER makes the Daleks angry. Well, angry for them...

And why taunting a race that could probably take on Cthullu, Blessed be His name, and win.
c3144160 chapter 1 . 3/30/2013
Technically it was all Oswins fault, The Doctor had nothing to do with that little decision making process. But still..ouch.

Fantastically written, as always. For some reason your description of the Daleks gives me an impression of 'The Dalek Master Plan', as opposed to 'Journeys End' (NOT a bad thing). It's nice to see them being more militaristic as opposed to Bond Villains and that they actually are efficient in the cold hearted genocide that they're known for. You could send a message to RTD, if the an enemy cant make any type of lasting damage, we are not going to take them seriously. Daleks wipe out other species. Show this, don't just tell. The fact their doing it in self defence just makes it scarier, though maybe in this case maybe hundreds of millions have died for the sake of hundreds billions and the Daleks will never leave their little protective circle. And now I'm over thinking, as usual... You've provoked a more passionate response from me in about 1000 words, then (to be really bluntly honest) nearly half the stories in the 50 years of actual show, so good job.
Sagethorn chapter 1 . 3/30/2013
Whoa. That was really really really well-written. The whole idea was very well-explained, and you kept everyone really well in-character. Very good job! :3
yellow 14 chapter 1 . 3/30/2013
