You got me. The story looks very promised with Jane and Lisbon on the run and all the potentials that can be developed from there. The first chapter is interesting and somehow funny with unexpected actions from Jane's cunning side and the second turns darker with flashback of Jane's painful childhood with his dad and his struggling to push it aside every conscious moments now. You're good at playing with readers emotions. It is a wonder he can still keep his cool despite the inner fight and fortunately there is Lisbon on his side supporting him.
