To be honest, when I saw that this fic had only 519 words, I thought that this was going to be just another horribly written story. I initially was against reading it, but I am glad that I finally did. Correction: This fic has 519 well-chosen words.

I really like that you chose to keep the chapters short. It gives the story a snapshot-esque feel to it, as if the reader were viewing the story through a kinetoscope. Another plus point about short chapters is that it makes the story very, very readable.

Moving on, robotic characters are hard to write about, but I think that this is an excellent rendition of Songbird's character. The way you written his thoughts are amazing. His thoughts are mechanical, as if they were programmed into him; yet there is a certain tone of desperation, as if he really cared about Elizabeth's safety.

The only thing in this story that I had a problem with was this two sentences: "I screech. The tower creaks and the platform she is standing on lurches beneath her booted feet." I do not know if the rhyming was intentional, but it does make these sentences pop out, which sort of detract from the reading. (Forgive my nitpicking.)

Overall, this is one of the shortest and the best story I've ever read here on . I can't wait for the rest of the chapters. Keep it up!

I like how you wrote how songbird thinks,what he's wired to do and how lost he is without Elizabeth,keep on writing.

I actually really enjoy this. The view of how songbird works. How he is wired to think. Good job I hope you continue!

:( Aw, poor Songbird. I like this story, it's cute, sweet, sad and very true to the Bioshock Infinite storyline. Poor songbird was lost without her. This is beautifully written, thank you for this! I love it! :D
