I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS YOU, wait, I should have remembered you were the person who wrote Sortiarius. But I rarely, if ever, glance at an author's name. Regardless, the style should have clued me in.

Among other things, vividly imagining Shin Kyoto Hen!Kenshin with early-manga!Kaoru is the weirdest shit I've ever seen while reenacting the scenes in my mind. The mental image is jarring because the other one's fully colored and looked like a nice screenshot of an anime ("Lady Kaoru" he greets) while Kaoru's with Watsuki's old style, blasting enemies away. Admittedly epic for Kaoru, in a classic 90's badassery.

Badass Kaoru is the bombdotcom. You totally nailed it. I can't stress that enough; I totally endorse your penchant. Please. By all means, enhance it.
Ahhhhh, so greatttt. Omg. When you characterize Kaoru, I can't help but let my biased pro-feminist side of me get excited by the prospect that we don't have a damsel in distress. So great. So happy.
