I don't watch season 2 after this episode, I'm loving this story. SMASH went down hill after this episode, and lots it's ratings. The writers could of taken it in many other ways esp getting Cartwills together. Loving your story and this would of boosted ratings and kept smash on air for a season 3 given us the Cartwills we wanted.

Okay so I have to vent. The episode before this past Saturday, I hated Karen! She was such a little b**ch. Goodness. And now Ana is being all grrrr...and yes, Karen kind of had it coming with what she said, but yeah. Also, I may have a breakdown if Derek and Karen don't get together in the show. Cause seriously? They would be SO good together. But I do feel bad for Ivy basically finding out that she was Derek's "re-bound", for lack of a better word.

Anyway, fantastic update, I can't wait for more, and this story is keeping me from yelling at my TV too loudly at the colossal mistake that Jimmy and Karen are...I just hope that it's actually over between them, but something tells me no. Oy.

Well, I admit it - I went back and re-read Chapter 4 before reading the new one. Of course, it was just to refresh my memory of what the story is about where is the sarcasm font when I need it. Hot Chapter 4 will always remain a favorite. With Chapter 5 I loved Roger and Derek's surprise meeting in Karen's apartment. You wrote it perfectly - awkward - and "so Derek". This is just a great story - looking forward to Chapter 6.
