Nice, intriguing story. This scenario is a great friendship story.

it was a fun story. nicely in character and good telling. You have a good way f handling proze.
I missed two things: first, insistent drama; it was a bit like it all could have been a lot worse, but it wasn't.
second, then ending conclusion. I wasn't really convinced this story proved how much they had come to trust Zuko. all Aang had to do was say: 'yeah, he's with us.' No risks, no sacrifices.

What you do best is make the situation and everyone's reactions very realistic. And everyone is in character as well.

Also liked the bit about Zuko's reputation as an arrogant, rude jerk; he spent a lot of time in the Earth Kingdom while searching for Aang. All those nasty encounters got talked about, heh. It was good to see a stranger to Zuko see the changes in him.
