I always hated this part of the AC story line, but this chapter was very, very good. I didn't think Abbas would actually pull off his plan initially.

You're an absolutely incredible writer and I know you will make this totally worth reading in the end of this story (well, you made every part of the story worth reading, but hey)! I'm so eager to find out how everything happens next. The game and books tell us, but I want to see how you do it! It'll definitely be good! I can't wait till next Friday!

All I was thinking while reading this was "Go away, Altair. Fuck you and your wife". And if I was Malik I'd have said that. But I... I think I understand. And that is what I like about Assassin's Creed fanfiction; it's different. Love stories in AC are different.

I only want to mention that I'm very upset that this chapter seemed to have both Altair and Malik unbelievably out of character several times. I can understand that this is not following the game and that because of this there are exceptions to character; however, it does bother me to think that Malik wouldn't at least think to act differently, or control himself regarding his emotions, and that Altair would be so calm about a threat to his wife. I don't believe that Altair would bring the subject up light as he did, either. It was a commitment for life back then, and it just seems wrong in my eyes. This is my opinion, and do what you will with it. I am still eager to see how everything turns out - I'm enjoying the story.
