Sorry for late review, I'm new to the Sherlock fandom, but I love sickfics with stubborn Sherlock. It's really hard to find ones that aren't Johnlock, let alone good ones. But yours wasn't just good, it was great. And stubborn, but grudgingly thankful Sherlock is super in character and adorable. I really enjoyed this story, it fit perfectly with the characters and everything, thank you for writing it. :)

You mentioned in your note that you weren't sure if they would give meds before running blood tests, and you are halfway right :) They would most likely give him meds when he's in that much pain,but the nurse would have already taken blood (as labs are drawn when an I.V. is inserted.)

Just for future reference :) Still a fantastic story, even with the couple of inconsistencies for us "medical minded" fans.
