I can't believe I didn't read this sooner. I was a big fan of Timeless and Changeless that I was stubborn enough to believe that no story can top that. And then here comes this story.
I think the ending was perfect. No need for big declarations and grand gestures of love. Caroline is smart enough to know that Klaus loves her, he just have to prove himself to earn her forgiveness and trust once again.
And it amazes me how you managed to maintain Klaroline in character in a completely different universe from TVD or TO.
So yes, thank you once again from gifting us this story. Hope you write more Klaroline stories.

Ok, so I’m one of those people that can listen to music while they read. I was listening to ‘Give Me Love’ by Ed Sheeran. When I was reading the smut scene, Ed kept yelling ‘love me’ ‘love me’ over and over. Point being, the song added so much to an already amazing scene.

I believe this is my first review for this story. I’ve been binge reading and not leaving them. Or, I don’t remember doing so which is likely too. Anyways, I don’t have anything to say other than: AMAZING STORY!

I know it’s been years since you’ve written anything for this story, but please, please I urge you to continue! It’s so fantastic and I really need a klaroline endgame from this :)

To be honest, even i was pissed. When he died, and Caroline talked to Bonnie about how much she loved him, i started crying, and then when he came back, i was so pissed. My best friend's in love with Elijah (but she doesn't ship him Katherine, which we're working on), and that's how she'd be incorporated with them, but if i was going to be their anything, it'd be their sister. And as pissed a Care would be, let's face it, Bekah would be so much more pissed

I called it! Seriously as soon as he gave the expression book to Caroline I knew.

What an incredible, fulfilling, intense, emotional roller coaster this adventure was! 10/10

I hope you continue this story :(
It’s been a delight to read it all these years so I hope that we get to read the conclusion to it’s sequel. In case you don’t plan to finish, would you please give us a note telling us how you planned to end it? I would love to know. I’ve been so invested in this story. It would be nice to get a closure :)

I read this story once last year prior to watching Elementry. Now that I’ve watched Elementry and fell in love with that, I had to reread this fic and it’s much better the second time around. I love the Sherlock references and slow burn of Klaroline and the mystery of it all. It’s such a good fic! One of my favs.

I’m screaming! I love that you included Elijah and Katherine in this and that they will both play a bigger role in the sequel. I have some theories about Kat. I won’t be surprised if she has a past record of criminal activity but more along the lines of heists and not murder. Or someone related to her is like that.

Also love that Caroline and Katherine are becoming unwilling partners in this. I think whatever has Elijah thinking something’s up with Katherine and wanting Caroline to spy on her, is the same thing that has Katherine herself turn towards Caroline. Maybe ask for her help about something to do with her past. And to top it, Klaus already has his own investigation into Katherine. I think these four are going to have to team up, for what I don’t know yet, but I feel like that they are all going to unwillingly get thrown into some plot and will have to work together. That is going to create tension and make each one face whatever troubles they may have with one another.

Oh god! This is sooooooo much fun! I’m in love with this already! I really hope you update. This story already looks pretty grand :D

And yeah, I finished reading The Madness Underneath again and feel so much better to face whatever shit is going on with the shows. Who needs canon when we have writers like you writing fantastic stories that are far richer in quality than what we’ve got :)

I do hope you come back :) but in case you don’t, just want to let you know that I love this story and thank you so much for writing something so brilliant for our fandom :)

Are you going to continue uploading more sequels cause I find the story really interesting so please continue writing

I have read this fanfic several times over it is definitely the better written ones. Since it has been two years since you updated this fic I am pretty sure it is going no where. Regardless of that obvious deduction I would like to implore you to continue this story.
