I honestly don't think that GLaDOS is the one giving them things, because she's not like that & she's preoccupied with a plot to make more robots/cores that are mobile like Atlas and Peabody to go kill the duo. So I think that Caroline's personality somehow separated from GLaDOS and is in tech of old Aperture helping the duo. Or maybe the scientists did manage to stick Cave into the machine in time but didn't realize it & he's the one helping them.

This was hilarious! Did he see her topless though? I hope that he stops resisting his memories though.

I honestly can't say that I would save Wheatley if I was in Chell's position, especially because I wouldn't want to miss the song mama Caroline wrote for me.
