Nicely done. I like the light atmosphere, especially with the naming at the end. Still, I wonder why none of the stuff from the summary happened if this story is complete?

I though Pouch for the dog was stupid, too, and Otis wanting to name that bar Moustache Pete was self-serving, and it doesn't fit the cat, either. IMHO...
