I usually don’t read fics about Wally’s death because it’s just too much feelings for me to handle but for some reason I felt like I needed to read this one. I love it. I seriously do. Is not just angs and hurt, it is also hope and a second chance, to say what was left unsaid and I just love it. Definitely one of my favorites now!

So I read this like years and years ago, and I’ve had it saved on my phone since. Idk if you even come back to this often enough to see this message, or get notifications for it, or what, but I seriously love this story so much. I always come back to it eventually, and it’s for sure the most iconic birdflash piece in my mind. I definitely used to cry over it all the time, and honestly, reading again has been such a relief and wave of good nostalgia for me right now. Thanks for writing and I hope you’re still going.

On a side note: What if the mental block that Megan puts on his powers is actually the reason he couldn't run fast enough in Endgame? Like, what if he'd retained the ability to run that fast and he just learned to train it, like Barry did. Would he have survived?

I'll be honest, I read a lot of fan fiction and I've seen some pretty heart wrenching ones. Just last week I read one of Eobin being tortured by Joker, didn't shed a tear. But this... this is just horrible! Oh God! I cried! No, I bawled my eyes and my heart out! This was so beautifully written and I love the little bit of sex but how it cut off cause I like reading the pre sex more than the actual thing. Definitely one of my favourites, thank you for one of the best Birdflash Fan Fictions EVER!

P.S. It takes a lot to make me cry. Only a few tears were shed at the Season Finale when Wally ACTUALLY DIED!

OMG, such an amazing bittersweet story! I was tearing up! I wish there was a sequel, but I know that wouldn't go well, and the place where you stopped was a great point. Oh man, excellent story idea!

That is so fucking sad! (And an amazing bit of writing.) He could have at least asked to be given an unignorable urge to kiss Robin when he got back. Now they'll never get their happy ending and Wally won't even remember their fleeting time together. I'm tearing up just so you know.
