This was a well-written, fantastic climax with suspense galore!

Lee why oh why didn't you request Agency backup to meet you at that turncoat police detective's residence? He's desperate, trained in police tactics and HE HAS AMANDA!

Now we come to the most dangerous section with a desperate diamond thief and triple murderer seeking to retrieve his loot and cover his tracks. Must be the unknown man in the dark car tracking Lee and Amanda. Very glad Lee climbed the trellis and is in her bedroom. Dare we hope he remains there guarding Amanda and her family? There's heaps of tension and suspense!

Honestly, this exchange between Lee and Amanda at May Wong's went over the top out of character for Lee. He is an experienced Agent and knows better than to let himself be distracted with his gun in hand. Amanda should have been instructed to remain silent. Lee needs to hear any threatening noises, not allow Amanda or himself to alert a potential threat since the door was open.

Amanda is mesmerized by Lee's blue-green-gold "hazel" eyes. Since mine are the same, it his sexy dimples that melt me faster than a snow angel in July. Full blown or flaring briefly as he tries not to laugh out loud, I'm a goner!

Speaking of gone. So is Dean ... already gone from Amanda's dreams and soon to be gone from Amanda's life.

Amanda frustrates and baffles Lee with her long, random rambles and sudden detours into dead-end streets before actually getting to the point. Now Billy experienced it, too; however, he decided to keep her on the case anyway. His "welcome to my world" spoke volumes and I nearly bust a gut laughing!

Amanda swings from not even acknowledging Lee's valid request for her to not anger the police detectives to, moments later, regurgitating his "let's get out of here" code from the consignment shop. At this point, they are worlds apart and the fun comes from watching them learn to play off each other's strength and trust their intuition. Excellent depiction!

She does try Lee's patience with her meandering details, but Amanda eventually zeroes in on an important clue. You capture their relationship well.

These days Amanda spends too much time daydreaming about Lee Stetson. When he's standing in front of her, she's breathless and gets goosebumps. It's sweet they both feel a powerful connection when they touch. You're off to a great start!

I love this! It certainly could have been an episode. Loved to humor and flirtation between Lee and Amanda.
