Technically, Titanoboa is much larger than a Reticulated Python. Reticulated Pythons average around ten to twenty feet long, with the largest known specimens just over thirty feet long. The average size of Titanoboa was over forty feet long, though scientists have yet to discover just how big the snake could grow, as complete snake fossils are very rare. Furthermore, Titanoboa had considerably more muscle mass than a Reticulated Python, making it much bigger around.
