I loved this short story, I'm glad I got to read it.

the power of heels is a real thing. I wonder if kags can feel what he feels and if he would purposefully do stuff to irritate her as well. that would be funny

This last one is the best. I actually did this at a Gov. Ball. My dress fit just so, my three inch heels clicking just right as I did a perfect runway walk (I used to model), my fiance enjoying all the looks of jealousy he was getting while I politely introduced him to all the top politico's in Texas (I gave up a modeling/acting contract to work in politics). Then one guy asked to take an official Governors Ball picture with him. I thought he was there alone so I took pity on him and asked my fiance if it was okay. He said, sure. He was actually proud. So I took the picture and just as we were about to part his girlfriend came out of the bathroom, boy was she pissed. My fiancee and I made a discreet exit, and then started laughing over the stupidness of it all, if they were important I would have cared, but I could tell they were only at the ball thanks to their parents, or I would have known who they were. Plus, when then Wall Street Journal calls you the most powerful political person in Texas you can strut your stuff however you like when you have the body, mind, and looks to pull is all off. This story reminds so much of that one night. Thanks for a great story, and reminding me of one the best nights of my life and knowing I got to that spot with my integrity and reputation fully in place made it even more worthwhile. I can still remember the pain of wearing those heels, and I still have them. Good luck on your next fic.
