In chapter 3 you use the word semi-automatic, when I think you meant fully automatic. Semi-automatic hand guns are what most people carry. One trigger pull equals one bullet fired. Other than that I like this series a lot.

At first I was like super scared to start reading the Emma stuff because I loved Harley so much I was worried I wouldn't like Emma as much, but after reading the whole Pastimes (the English language is wild with that spelling and only one T) series (and now rereading it because fuck sleep I guess) I'm just as equally addicted and I love Emma? Like she's kinda snarky and I'm in love? Also her dynamic with the Joker is amazing because it's so different from Harley's but like the Joker still feels like the same dude for the most part? It's wild

upon rereading this chapter, i just realised that i really like em, because i'm like em. i relate to her life experiences (except maybe being the plaything of a freaking psychopath) and train of thoughts so much. and it just goes to show how great you are as a writer. you were able to successfully create this believable, flawed, and complicated character from scratch, which tbh, most fanfic writers horribly fail at. and i just love, love that character so much.

This exceeded any expectations I may have had going into this. As far as sequels go, I am thoroughly impressed, and am glad to say that it felt like a genuine continuation of the story, a new avenue where we got to know Em better. And, oh boy, I didn't think it was possible to like Em more than I already did, but now it's official: I love her. Her descent/evolution was handled masterfully, each interaction she had with henchmen and her former self/conscience wonderfully depicted. And the finale? I was absolutely blown away. Em smacking Batman in the face with a two-by-four, followed by shooting the Joker in the knee, was more than anything I could've asked for. I was cheering the whole way there. And I am so eager to see where Em goes from here. Looking forward to Metamorphosis! Thank you for this story, and a thrilling sequel to boot. Your series is so addicting that I can hardly wait to start the next segment of Em's journey! I hope your day is well.

Another lovely installment to your Pastimes series. As always, your Joker is amazing. You've nailed his voice, his persona. I was glad to witness Emma's growth over the course of this fic.
