okay, I'll be honest, I haven't yet read it but judging from the reviews, it's good. i'd gladly jump aboard the wagon but please be honest with me, will you keep writing this? i don't wanna be left hanging. i'd hate to get attached only to left wondering by myself about the rest of the plot.

Now that I've finished reading this masterpiece. I must tell you that I've been here since 2013-14 and since then I've read the whole story at least one time per year. The chapter is not crappy at all ! And lol at the fact that Lan Fan is so heartbreaking she startles her bodyguard and the infamous Dong Mao. Dong Mao really acts like an ass tho. His poor fiancée is not helped at all by his behaviour. However, as crazy as it sounds, I liked the scene where he was threatening Lan Fan.
But the question is why must the dowager die first ? (not like I would mind)

Heartbreaking. The end was absolutely heartbreaking. What am I saying ? the whole chapter was heartbreaking !
At least Lan Fan has people to count on. I can't help but wonder how Lien Hua Feng will react if one day she discovers the truth. (Not really an "if" but more a "when" since it's a fictional story that needs plotwist haha)

I never mentioned it but I love the politics in this ! I find it curious that Ling didn't think of speaking with the nomads when they came back from amestris. As an Emperor, I thought he would enjoy learning more about his people - no matter where they come from. I'm also curious about the family of Lan Fan. How come she ended up with her grandfather ? Because the rest of her family was killed and her talent for the Pulse made her stand out ?
I love the contrast of Lan Fan. One second she is blushing at Ling and the next she is baring her teeth like a predator lol That's one hell of a woman right here

Yes, Ling was definitely having naughty thoughts. I can't even decide which Lan Fanx Ling scene is my favourite because every single one of them is special. But it feels a bit like they are high schooler with Ling being the flirty one and Lan Fan the blushing one. But Lan Fan might be blushing with Ling, but man is she a hardass at work

Lan Fan finally seeing that the Lien Hua, Xinzhe and Dong Mao are actually human beings who can have fun. Now that I'm rereading for the ninth time I remember that I quite like Xinzhe - the snarky guy's type, I like them. And the surprise appearance of the Emperor was perrrrfect ! Some chapters ago Ling was saying that he liked Lan Fan best with dirt on her face and today he just got to see her like that !
I also love that Lan Fan is suddenly remembering her mothertongue. It's not unusual for people to speak their mothertongue to animals. I love this little fact.
