RealityReflected chapter 1 . 5/13 Somehow, despite him insisting on this arranged marriage, I don't hate Denethor. I can't quite like him, but he has sympathy. (I'm pretty sure it's not just because this is Eomer and Lothiriel and will turn out happy in the end. This isn't a nice thing now.) |

guest chapter 34 . 3/8/2019 First of all, I liked that you had Eomer have a child outside of marriage in his younger years. A great idea, as it played an important role on the relationship among the protagonists and everyone around them. Being practically forced to get married, without knowing the other, the lack of cummunication, a son being revealed later on and the differences of culture created an interesting recipe for us readers to see how they would go on with their marriage. I liked the other characters as well: Eothain- a good and wise friend, grandmother Eomund, Eomer's son Elric-such a good and sweet boy with so much love for his siblings and Lothiriel, Dreda-the antagonist with her deadly plans for the princess and her baby, Hrodgar- an interesting person, balancing between good and bad, but with a remarkable change after Lothiriel took him with her and Amrothos who with his suprising decisions (to return back when he was sent way from Rohan, his sudden wedding to Elswite) and enjoyable character somehow helped to make problems go away. Eomer and Lothiriel faced many dangers, the kidnapping, loss of a child but they managed to overcome everything with the true love they shared and create a beautiful family. I am glad Eomer allowed Hrodgar to return to them after his exile. The epilogue with all the families in Dol Amroth together was fantastic. |

wistful reader chapter 22 . 12/18/2017 You have my respect! I take my off to you! Usually these parting scenes are so cliched... But this one ... This one touched my heart... |
sai19 chapter 34 . 11/29/2017 Always such a joy to re-read your old stories while waiting for the new ones to update :) I, like Lothiriel, have a special place in my heart for Aldburg, I think I developed that when I first read the Long and Winding Road - so any fic that features pre-King Eomer will always make me smile, this one especially. x |

eschscholzia chapter 34 . 9/29/2016 Thank you for this beautiful story. I enjoyed the twists and turns (when they weren't stabbing me in the heart and twisting the knife). I like that the world of your characters is not all black and white- they are complex humans with difficult choices. [wild applause!] |
