please make a sequel for when he arrives home at the Shire and he has to explain to the Hobbits what happened and why he doesn't have an eye anymore. I loved it! Your writing is so good! I don't cry often and when I do it's usually one or two tears, but this made me shed like 10. 10/10 would read again.

Oh, my (me, I would have used the Ring and stolen some food, but Bilbo is better than that).

And people in the Shire aren't going to like dwarves very much when they find out was *really* happened. Even Cousin Lobelia is going to try to put her umbrella up a dwarf's nose when she finds out the truth.

D: Why do we love to torture poor Bilbo? Poor wee hobbit.
Aside from the fact I usually hate reading this sort of thing, I have re-read this twice in a matter of days simply because of how well written it is. You leave no chance of us being distracted whilst reading any of your fics, purely on the basis that it is just TOO DAMN INTERESTING. There is no lag in your stories and, while I do wish for you to try something lighter for the wee hobbit's sake, I tip my hat off to you.

This was great to read. I really like it and there is hardly a thing I have to say, apart from maybe two spelling errors, which I can't even remember any more.
You had me teary eyed a few times. :/ meh.

Oh. Wow. Didn't see this story coming. Extremely well written... it's just... wow. Poor Bilbo. I can only imagine what will happen when he gets back to the Shire with an eye-patch on, partially crippled. And with the delay in traveling, I wonder if his possessions have been auctioned off. Though an escort of armed dwarves would certainly be useful in getting them back... I do wish that this story extended on just a little bit... just to cover that part of the story...
