A Fan chapter 6 . 9/25/2018 That was a great story! You did a masterful job of depicting Ahsoka as a Sith. I enjoyed the way you portrayed all the characters. I'm glad you didn't stop at one chapter. Job well done! |
FablePsycho chapter 6 . 10/10/2016 This has been one of the best fanfics I've ever read...still...I was kinda hoping Maul would live. Though I'll say this, you played out the nature of the sith expertly, and kept the characters personalities intact. For that I commend you, and thank you for a wonderful read, though I have a feeling these two will become something so much more in canon. You know how we last see Ahsoka on Malachor in the season 2 finale of Rebels.I think she lives, and that she will become a celestial being of the force, like the daughter from the clone wars. In the clone wars series, Maul and Ahsoka had both in their own way, encountered and were touched by "the ones". Ahsoka was saved by the daughter, and Maul had gone insane. Both were near deaths door, but were saved by the force. Ahsoka was saved by the light, and by the selflessness of the daughter. It would not surprise me, if part of the daughter lived on through Ahsoka. With Maul's case, his burning hatred for the Jedi and Obi-wan had kept him alive, the very will of the dark side. He even mentions that his path was darker then he ever dreamed it would be when his sanity is restored. I think, that in his insanity, he came very close to the dark, closer then any dark side practitioner could ever hope to achieve. What he says in his mad rant, is later referenced by the son, right before he possesses Ahsoka. What am I getting at exactly...I think Maul and Ahsoka will become like "the ones". That through these two characters, the daughter and the son will be reincarnated, and that Maul and Ahsoka will become the celestial beings of light and dark...with the Bendu taking the place of the father. This way, the force is partly brought back into balance. I know that it's a stretch, and that Maul and Ahsoka are opposites in every way, but they are also very similar I realize. Both were abandoned by their orders. Both had survived near impossible situations, where the force had been their savior. Both set out to shape their own destinies, and have done so in their own way, which played a role for the fate of the galaxy. And lastly...both are searching for hope. It only makes sense that they may become something more in the Rebels series. In a way, you might not be far from the truth with this fanfic, and it makes excited to see how it all plays out for two of my favorite characters in the star wars franchise. So again, I thank you for this wonderful story. |
Kasher chapter 6 . 2/11/2016 This was absolutely transporting. I loved every bit of it. I never thought I would ship Maul and Ahsoka together but damn you did it. The ending was so bittersweet and satisfying though I wish she had kissed him instead. Aw, I'm fangirling! Thank you very much for this amazing story. I'll recommend it to my circle of Star Wars peeps |

Darth Bellona chapter 4 . 5/30/2013 Thanks for a great story! After watching the end of the Clone Wars this season, this scenario immediately came into my mind. I had thought about writing it, but well you beat me to it and did a really nice job. I read that you are in high school. I also enjoyed writing in high school and ended up with a BA in English, but I wish I would have done creative writing. So if you like doing this, my advice is to follow your dreams! And if you write more to this story, I'm so reading it! |

skywalker05 chapter 2 . 5/26/2013 This Ventress-Ahsoka conversation is reminding me of what I like best about Star Wars (and Star Wars fanfic): powerful people in otherwise pretty mundane conversations, meeting on the street and staring into eachother's souls. You write the Force very well. I love Ventress' last line, her acknowledgement of Ahsoka as a Nightsister-like queen of the underworld (of trash heaps, yes, but a queen) and therefore of Ahsoka's adulthood as well. Although it is partially a product of how little Ahsoka-Maul dialogue there is, the emphasis on his pity or lack thereof serves as a good comparison to Ventress' slight compassion. Ahsoka's answer to her question really shows how far Ahsoka has fallen, into resignation if not darkness, which again makes the "queen" line ironic and meaningful. Nice job. I'm glad you addressed the temporary closeness between Ahsoka and Ventress. |
