So the first thing that drew me to this was the title because who doesn't love Mussorgsky? Promenade is one of my favorite pieces of classical music. I've never read a fic inspired by classical music so it was fun to listen to each piece and let the feeling of the music infuse your words, as opposed to letting someone else's lyrics set the tone of a piece. So that was fun :) Nice piece of work all together though, love pieces like Haymitch's perspectives and your description of his trip to the Capitol. This is like a raspberry dark chocolate bar: a little dark, a little bitter, a little tart, but overall sweet.

Omg, what a perfect chapter. I always get sad when reminded of what happened to haymitch's family. But that interaction with peeta was great!
