I very much liked this. It seemed a calm discussion of realistic anxieties over a situation that is still fairly new for all involved - and good counsel from Elledan, despite Frodo's 'go not to the Elves for counsel'... ;-) Tganks for writing!

Wow... your stories always make me cry.

Although I think the summary doesn't really summarise this very well, I really love this piece of writing. Your style of writing forces you to savour every word, and your portrayal of each character is fantastic, remaining true to the books with Aragorn, and adding a unique take on the depiction of the twins.

What a beautiful, evocative piece. Just the right amount of detail, emotion, character movement and motivation. I was drawn in from the first line 'til the last. A very well-rendered piece that explores in brief the agony of doubt Aragorn must have felt in his earlier years of the Dunedain-and I loved the glimpse of Elladan's and Elrohir's relationship with him.
