I enjoyed this. I am also glad the initial misunderstandings did not last overly long. One of the things I like least about some Labyrinth stories. 20 chapter book, 18 chapters of them arguing and fighting and misunderstanding, 1 chapter sudden reconciliation and declaration of love, 1 epilogue. It’s infuriating to me how it’s so easy to include strife and negativity, but skimp out on the things that make wading through the bad parts worth it. So thanks for not doing that.

I feel this chapter would have worked better if Jareth also apologized. It was really crass of him to talk about Toby the way he did and he knew it would make Sarah mad. I'm not saying Sarah is blameless, but there's fault on both sides.

The argument she should have brought up was that her excuse was that she was young and stupid. Jareth, however, was much much older and should have known better than to take a kid from his family...
