| TheEdifier chapter 9 . 3/23/2017 this story always hurts, but it is decidedly well-written and I find myself coming back time and again. thank you for all the time and effort you put into writing this. Characterization is on-point and fits smoothly canon, working well with the changing dynamics the different seasons brought. what a rough time for Tony though, I swear. Angst category certainly fits, my heart was wrenching for the poor man. I appreciate all the different memories that added so well into the story, the coach and the movie references fit in so well. |

| CgJinx chapter 9 . 10/25/2016 LOVED THIS STORY! Your writing is excellent and characterization was spot on. I've always felt Gibbs doesn't WANT to care about his agents (especially Tony) so he uses his iron will and determination to ensure he doesn't. But he's not above using Tony (or any of them, really) for his own purposes. I hope Tony didn't open the door at the end, just like I always wanted Tony to punch Gibbs at least once after resigning. There were so many crappy things Gibbs did to Tony over the years (premeditated as well as simply opportunistic) I figured he deserved at least one punch. |
