I loved this story! I mean, I love Nightwing/Dick and the BatFam anyway, but you did a great job exploring not only the choices Dick has to face with his new job, but Bruce and Dick's relationship as well. It was great to see Bruce supportive of him - he's a total softy and we all know it. Also, I specifically loved the line you used at the end of your first chapter: "Dick pulled the trigger and the regret hit him quicker than the recoil." What a fantastic line. I'm jealous of it, actually. Keep up the good work, and DFTBA!

I love this story. I loved Dick's inner debate and his guilt. So perfectly in character. And I loved the Bruce/Dick interaction at the end. Those words "I'm proud of you" are so rare from Bruce. LOVE it!
