I like how its written in first person, with one character per chapter, and covering the time lapse from 'Second Servings' up to nearly 'Second Chances'. The way in which each chapter tells it differently and focusing in different aspects really helps adding depth.
(Would have loved to have Spock's point of view!)
I have not read much fan fiction on Star trek, but until now, the great majority which involve Kirk/Spock and a breakup, tends to resolve itself unrealistically. SO, even if I love K/S and wish for the pairing to prevail, I must thank you. Even if a bit dramatic (I'm not sold on allergy based attempted murder for adulterers), you have certainly made your plot different and refreshing.
