Gibbs so-called joke had me feeling irritated with the man (whom I adore) ever since I saw the episode. You have perfectly expressed how it would feel to Tony, letting the darker thoughts prevail. At one point, you had Tony call McGee 'Probie' - wouldn't that be an anachronism? Tim was Case Agent on TAD still, hence the joke by Gibbs (as in headcount openings). It may even have sounded funny to McGee's ears, if only Tony hadn't stood there! I love that you make me take a new look! I appreciated how you represented Morrow with Gibbs, too, I like it very much.

Hi, a different look, but totally believable. McGee lovable and patient with Tony, how he helped him with the retina scanner. Gibbs being punished by Morrow, that actually made sense. Well done!

Great story. I would love a story where Tony transfers in this same universe

Great one-shot and it's good to see a story that focuses on Tony's stronger side and traits, a lot have him basically as a child with zero self esteem and no confidence (while he may have the occasional weak moment and the occasional doubt it just isn't him and quite frankly no one goes through life without facing these problems over time).

These writers also seem to forget what a great agent he is as well, this episode was a great one to show his skill he broke out taking the marine with him evaded capture and in the end disarmed his captor. One of my personal favourite moments was also when Tony beat the crap out of an assassin while tied to a chair and there are many more like the Eli interrogation, hell in the third episode of season 11 he saved his temporary partner/back up from being run over then shot out the car tyre and apprehended the person of interest.

Anyway enough rambling great work and good to see Morrow got a decent part in this as well wish there were more stories with Morrow in them, especially ones were Morrow successfully poaches Tony over to Homeland (so far I've only found one story where this has happened).
