Interesting to say the least.

Well damn what is with the romance? Sorry for disappearing my muse didn't want to let me do anything with the Omeya thingies. I kept fighting it but in the end I had to settle for not even discussing them. It's annoying I know but I Arwen saved the day with his nice little chat with Thelya and what's that a first date? i'm just going to pretend that he's young enough and she's old enough.

I wanted to drop them into the middle of a firefight but it didn't flow from my fingers so it must not have been meant to be. Damn this chapter took way to long to write, and I feel cheap for how short it is. But at the same time got some good character development in.

This chapter was very good, I like that you're writing about the early history of the Alterrans. In my mind, I kinda correlate the Ori and North Korea. Think about it, (Stargate time, circa 2007) the Ori government had all the tech, which their ppl can use, but not re-create or understand. This makes them a very loyal army, but very dependent on their government and can't operate on detached duty without support. Just something I was thinking about. I can't wait to read chapter 8!

Might we explore the first ZPM? the Destiny mission? The form of FTL they're using, I've read the word hyperspace used, are they using hyperspace or Destiny's form of FTL?

I like this story. I must say it is a relay interesting angel on the Stargate world keep up the good work

The total lack of internal strife would certainly explain why the Alterrans suck so much in war.

It would be interesting to learn whatever the Ori on board intended to do. I'd also like to see some progress in their colonisation efforts.

noticed your using of the Crystal Skull Aliens 2 few chaps ago, and you commenting in The Second Great Alliance that you thought the Furling or theri reps had appeared; Joseph Mallozzi actually confirmed that we've never come across the Furling in the show, but he never confirmed we never come across their reps :-)

These Alterans really lack experience, don't they? If I was them, I'd stripped her naked, scanned her thrice and then tossed her into a cell.

I gather that Tethys guy was killed by Phoebe.

Well... I wonder why my update mail failed... Anyway, great chapter. So the Ori have somehow gotten the Ark of massive Brainwashing in their hands and used it on the high councillor of the Alterrans? Why did he allow them to run away anyway? That needs some explanation. I mean the sabotage program was nasty, but something like that isn't exactly reliable. Was this all the Ori had planned, or do they have some sort of backup plan. Other agents the high counselor smuggled in?

so you read Aer-Ki' story? I have too-no update recently unfortunately; does Aer-Ki know bout this story? you having the Alterrans be a seperate, more advanced species than the Lanteans is also using a less expounded on plot theme

Ianas shows initiative and they ban him from doing his science. He might just decide to leave the Alterrans. I'm still thinking he'll be the first Asgard. That might be interesting actually. A part of the ancients that split over a philosophical issue of immortality.

So they'll run into Goa'uld? I don't think they're that old. I mean IIRC the ancients wiped out all live in the milky way after the plague. That would obviously also contain the snakes.
