I read this right after watching Ray of Light Part 2. I'm trying to not lose hope in Eclare, but it's getting difficult. I can't think straight and nothing makes sense, this fic cheered me up just a tad. I just, ugh. I really can't believe Eli said what he did, I mean I know he felt smothered, but saying that to Clare? He said that to the girl he promised forever and always with, the girl he'd wait for, the girl he asked to twist his rubber arm which started something beautiful. That beautiful something, was Eclare. I can't look at Eli the same way ever again. I'm sorry for the rant, I just needed someone to talk to, this fic was wonderful, you guys make a great writing pair! Keep up the lovely work, and maybe we'll get through this.

Where to begin, where to begin. Wow...so I barely type long reviews, but damn that. Holy hell. I'm a huge fan of both of you guys. I know your writing styles when I see it but I couldn't decipher anything. I read this last night and said that I had to review this in the morning. You guys flow so well together; I couldn't tell and forgot that there were two people writing this.

Well let's start.

The development! Oh my gosh. I love how you didn't just jump right into "Oh,Eli is leaving!" You started us off happy; she thinks about last night; she smells his scent; snuggles into his comforter...then wonders where Eli is and then eventually realizes the future.

I appreciate the pacing of that. Because most of the time sad thoughts don't just spring up on us. Something leads to something else which triggers what we want to ignore or forget.

Kudos!

My God. Clare crying. I love the consistency of emotions from her. In most stories, Clare crying doesn't "break my heart," it's not real. But I could imagine this. It was authentic. She didn't reveal to Eli anything. Eli was able to read his girlfriend; I appreciate you showing that aspect of their relationship. But Clare was crying and then she choked on a sob; she turned against the wall...you guys painted such a beautiful picture. I felt like I was in the bathroom with them.

The kiss was hot. Point blank. It was wonderful. I won't go into so much detail there, but it was great.

This was absolutely amazing and definitely my favorite from both of you guys.

I think some more collaboration should be done.

Ugh that was so perfect I was literally drowning in feels. Like my heart was clenching and I just could feel every emotion and wow... It was amazing

Aw.. How cute. Eli's so sweet in this fic, and so is Clare. Hope he gets off the drugs already. Anyway, this was a great fic. Adorable.
