liragreen chapter 1 . 8/23/2013 Ha! At least Leah was able to get a little revenge for all Bella put her and the pack through. And maybe this is a sideways gift to Bella-throughout all of the books, she never had to learn from her mistakes or accept the consequences of her actions. SM's biggest flaw (well, despite her limited vocabulary and lack of writing talent) was the fact that she was too in love with her characters to hurt them. While it made a happy ending for everyone, that all-inclusive happy ending made for a very unbelievable set of events and weak characters. I love how you gave at least Leah a backbone. |
HalcyonSeasons chapter 1 . 7/23/2013 I had the most victorious smile on my face... I'm so glad that happened! The entire time I was wondering if Leah was really going to do something crazy. I kept thinking, "Oh god, what if she just bitches her out again?" And then when I saw that wasn't happening, I was thinking she was going to straight up kill Bella, which would have started a riot. But a ripped-off arm? A-plus. Justice was very much so served. Awesome job. |
InaV chapter 1 . 7/20/2013 So gooooood! I hated how everyone was walking on eggshells around Bella and loving her, even despite her being stupid, aggressive and egocentric from the first to the last page of the books. Your Leah did what I wanted to be done for so long... And it's the least she could do. It was creepy that Jake imprinted on the baby, but it was not his choice. And poor Seth. No one really saw Bella for the crazy newborn that she was, even in that moment, but they treat her as if she is like the rest of the vamps. Someone had to do something, so: "Go Leah" :) |
Fred the Man chapter 1 . 7/11/2013 Leah is a bit full of herself, is she not? She ripped the arm of someone is not trying to fight her or make an attempt to seriously defend herself. IF Bella had made a serious attempt to defeat herself, Leah might not so full of herself right now. Yes, she had a right to be mad about Seth, but it was not like Bella deliberately tried to injury him. Seth did attack Bella, she acted on instinct, defended herself. I get Bella's anger about Jake, a guy who spend years trying to get into her pants, now putting those feelings on her newborn daughter. Mother's instinct to protect her child from creepy Jake. The imprint is not a good enough excuse for me, given how much Jake sniffed around Bella, long before Renesmee was born. |
