Beautiful and in character to boot; a rarity in a lot of Sirius/Harry fanfics. It always bothered me as well that Sirius left so soon after Harry experienced something so traumatic. This is exactly how I picture it going down. Well done.

Well, near the end of Goblet of Fire, Harry did receive some comfort from the people in his life but he was forced to deal with everything that happened on his own for the most part. No offence but if the events of the Graveyard took place in real life and Harry cam back then Harry would no doubt be suffering from PTSD. But then again, Harry Potter is a children's series. So I am all the more glad that your take on the events of Harry Potter are realistic.

Harry is suffering from a legitimate case of PTSD.

Honestly, Harry and Sirius were totally in character. You got Harry's pain across. And I know the ending was supposed to be uplifting but... I couldn't help thinking that a year later Sirius dies.
