You have the exact thoughts I did, well, not exact. But the 'suicide' wasn't Sherlock. At all. I liked this a lot. Keep writing!

I loved this! I really did, because here's the thing:
Sherlock's suicide WASN'T him. At all. First off, in front of John. He wouldn't do that. Second, (and remember, this is me writing from like a person who didn't know that Mortiarty was forcing him to jump or they would be shot, like John) it's not Sherlock. He had access to guns, medicines, poisons, even a harpoon! It seems to me that he wouldnt have jumped, and considering no one really knows about Moriarty. I can't spell his name correct, I really need to learn. But, someone would be suspicious. Cheers to you!

Oh so good! I really like stories that show an underlying friendship between Lestrade and how much they actually do care for each even though they don't say it.

I love them as well. Have you ever written one where John figures it out? That might be neat. Especially if he goes and hunts Sherlock down, imagine that reunion.

This fits into my head canon about Lestrade and Sherlock. He'd KNOW, somehow. And I love the line, "And he had believed him, like the idiot Sherlock had always told him he was."

Nice job! I do love fics where Lestrade is portrayed as the smart, capable cop we all know he is. And communicating with Sherlock-don't think I've seen much of that before, but I like it! And of course Sherlock cares about Greg, too, he's just not going to admit it in so many words. :)

Nice :) I really like Lestrade - Sherlock interactions.. when it is parental or brotherly... so this was just perfect :) and I also like when somebody figures out that Sherlock is alive, so the combination of these two were really just perfect for me :)
