Loved this. Great work and great writing :D

I enjoyed your exuberant use similes as well as your interesting adjectives. I feel horrible for Reid and Hotch, too, of course. The situation certainly didn't provide any easy outs. It's lucky someone drove by before it got dark!

I'm still curious about what happens to Reid and whether he will be as bad off as Hotch worries he is; Hotch was in shock, too, so his judgement could only be so sound. I'm going to assume the best because I want to. )

Wow. I liked how you kept the pace well, everything is tight and I can sense how Hotch is at that point where he is going to topple over soon. Well, if they don't get to the hospital in time...throughout the fic I was very anxious for the following ambulance/hospital scene where we know their ending. It doesn't have to be a happy ending(with burn victims it's often the other case) and from what I can tell, Reid's starting to go into arrythmia and whatnot, so the future looks bleak for them...

Won't you consider at least a follow-up? :O We know that we have to be realistic, so we(at least I) wouldn't be too surprised if it isn't a happy ending. (I just need an ending:O)

Those last lines...beautiful, just beautiful. Amazing, very powerful. I kind of want to beg for a sequel to make sure Spencer is okay, so...PLEASE WRITE A SEQUEL! I NEED SPENCER TO BE OKAY! PLEASE!

Your writing is absolutely phenomenal. I am not just saying this because I say that to all the fan fiction authors (I don't.) or because I'm fishing for a Part Two (I won't.). I'm saying it because I think you are a phenomenal writer. Your description was so in-depth, and the observations of the characters were deep, yet realistic. Heck, even the author's note was profound! My only objection would be ending it where you did, yet I can't legitimately complain about that, because (despite the fact that I have deep-rooted issues with story closure), the ending just seemed right. Anyway, that's enough rambling praise from me. Just thought I'd mention that I think you're going places, so...keep it up!

Is there any possibility I could convince you to do a short sequel? A "the team finds out and everybody freaks and races to the hospital and they have to find Mark and OMG Reid is dying" sort of thing? 'Cause it would be awesome.
