This was lovely. Lily and James feel so real and relatable. James' characterization is very well done. And the ending was so sweet.

I loved the drinking scene! You really pulled off those transitions well. Maybe write a bit more to get even better if you'd like? (Honestly, I just want you to write more JILY so I can read it!)

This is really excellent. It's well paced and the separate incidents/sections are each satisfying in their own right but also well-balanced parts of the whole story. I really enjoyed it; thanks for sharing!

Loved this! I adore your characterizations of Lily and James. He's so funny, and far more subtle than I am used to reading (making him, of course, far more real as well).
Lily is annoyed, but not screaming. Her kindness clearly comes out in this piece, something that almost all authors forget about her, and I think,so essential to her character.
They are fun, they are teenagers, but they are honest when they need to be. Perfect.

I gave up on this at first, and then have just come back to it now. I'm so glad.
There's a couple of bits where I don't like the characterisation, if I'm completely honest (I think they were friends before seventh year and she would have been happy that he was Head Boy, for example) but there is really amazing development and I love that you included Peter! It seems like a small thing but it makes me happy.
I loved the whole three scars thing and I got a knot in my stomach as I always do when I read I-love-you-but-I-know-you-don't-love-me, and give me topless James any day and I'll be happy ;)
