A palomino needs one cream parent...and only a few certain bloodlines in Thoroughbreds carry cream. Milkie and Glitter Please are the two foundations of cream in thoroughbreds. Glory could hide the cream under his grey if he came from one of these lines, but you would have most likely seen it pop up before in previous foal crops. The mare herself would have to be palomino and not chestnut if she carried it. The gene doesn't skip generations-a parent has to have the color to pass the color.
