I actually really love how you wrote the two complimentary companion works together like that. It feels much more complete than if you had just switched back & forth from thier different POVs.

I really love this series and Severus's viewpoint is my favorite. I have noticed that other stories tend to make him out to be very dark and violent, but I have long thought that he was just lonely, misunderstood, and underappreciated. He only needed the right person to help bring him out of all that. That's why I love the way that you portray him.

I'm sorry, I keep meaning to review on this and the companion piece but I'm jumping back and forth at every chapter just dying to read more! This story is bloody fantastic, absolutely captivating. I love that you've done the exact same story from two different perspectives, it's genius. I've never read a story done in this way. Oh, I've read ones that switched throughout but not covering the same thing constantly. I'm blown away by it, it's an excellent idea. Reading from a teenage Severus point of view is so much fun and I'm constantly fighting down the temptation to just read straight through his (I mean, come on it's Severus Snape! Who could resist?)
Well, I think I've rambled on enough, lol. Back to the story I go :D

As I was re-reading this story, it occurred to me that I'd love to see some outtakes from Albus' POV. Unless you're planning a twist/big reveal with his character...anyways, maybe something to think about? Hope you finish the next chapter of Old Magic soon!

Potter was just starting to nod when Moody's wand somehow materialized in his hand and Potter went flying across the room to land on a conveniently placed pile of cushions. There had barely even been time for me to recognize the wickedly powerful Impedimenta for how swiftly it had been executed. Moody sighed, "Mr. Potter, you are dead." hahaha that last line!

Are you still going to write a second part or have you abandoned the idea? It would be a shame because it's a very good story.
