This is such a great story! Maia is an interesting and compelling character. I would love to know what happens next and if you ever decide to come back to this, it’d be great, but of course I understand that this may not be possible. This story is the best I have read so far.I’ve always liked the house of black so this was really intriguing. Even though it’s been so long since you’ve updated I still hope that one day you’ll finish the series.

I adored this story. Its been a long time since a fanfiction had me up past 2am. The hope is that you one day update but its been 5 years, so I figure its probably not in the cards. But, thank you for writing.

I know you haven't updated this story in 4 years but I still wanted to say it's a really good story. I'm actually so gutted that it's not complete I really want to find out what happens! But nonetheless, you've written a really good fic and I love that it's followed the black family, has someone trying to save Harry, and talks about wizarding culture. I've really enjoyed binge reading the entire thing over the past two days (even though I should be studying for tests) but it's highly addictive and I do hope that you go on to write more and/or update the fic again. Though even if you don't, thanks for putting in the time and effort and making it possible for people to read such a great story :)

The fact that Maia is willing to explain her irritation and other emotions, giving background information like she did in this chapter with Hermione, shows character growth. I find Maia entirely too arrogant and narrow-minded most of the time, but it moments when she admits she is wrong and moments in which she finds ways to correct her errors that has me reluctantly deciding I respect her.
I can say I rarely read through, and enjoy, an entire fanfiction if I do not genuinely like the main character. Maia Black is certainly a main character, if not the sole main character, and I do not particularly like her...and yet this story has captured my interest quite thoroughly.

What an odd, funny, and somehow fitting turn this story has taken. This should be impossible, but somehow you have made these situations come across as genuine and natural.

I really wish you would take this story up again. It is a good plot and writing style.

I really don’t like Hermione and how insistent she is. Maia deserves space and Hermione should not be the one up in it all the time.

I agree with them, Burbage shouldn’t have been interfering. It wasn’t extra studies, it had been minipulation.

I love your writing style and the level of detail and realism you convey. You haven't just mashed ideals together and forced "all good things" for your characters. They experience very human emotions and responses,and that's not easy to communicate. Well done!
I also love the many quips and one-liners!

It was said in chapter 49 that this has been planned out till the final epilogue. If you don't plan on writing out full chapters for this ever again, I know I would greatly appreciate an abbreviated timeline of how events for your AU would go.
I do so hope you see this!

Started out loving Mia, ended up hating her.
Though I must say you have portrayed her and everyone beautifully. Your writing is excellent and while I am disappointed this story is discontinued (I should have checked before I started reading haha), the first book was amazing.
It’s really upset me that she hasn’t had the back of her friends while they have always had hers
And Hermione annoys me the most in this story - she’s as manipulative as the best of Slytherins. She also gets mad when Mia brings up her muggle heritage in a negative way but she can do it all she want to Mia and accuse her of whatever she pleases. And Mia just goes along with it?! Surely not someone who is from such an esteemed house, as she makes sure to remind us of every few minutes.
However I must say that this story is so wonderfully written and it really is one of the best daughter fics I’ve read and I hope you succeed in whatever you have chosen to do now.

"Fan-fiction writers who abandon awesome stories like this shall be PUNISHED!" - I heard this little toad looking lady say this the other day... She looked familiar, was wearing a hideous pink cardigan and a pink BOW in her hair (even though she was well into her 70's or 80's) and she was carrying a STICK! She looked mean... You might wanna finish this...

I completely understand if you have decided to abandon this story, but I do love it so very much and I'm hoping that you can at least publish an epilogue so we can discover what happens to the characters. Does Sirius die? Are Draco's loyalties to the dark side going to change because of Maia? Will Maia end up with Justin? These questions need answering! Please publish an epilogue.

First of all, a comment for this chapter: I hope that Harry and Hermione being together is as siblings... I honestly prefer Harry with Ginny and Ron with Hermione...

But anyway, off of that note, I am BEGGING you to update this story! Please, please, please do so! There are many, many, many readers who would be heartbroken if this enthralling tale (of which this is only the second work!) were abandoned. Please, though I know it has been 2 years, I implore you to finish the story!
