Oh goodness, that was written beautifully! Tears were threatening to spill from my eyes. It didn't even occur to me that Maya could have gone to her audition, but if she had, I'd want the writers to portray it like you did. Your explanation of how the notes were played and the flashbacks Maya was having really helped me visualize it in my head. Plus that ending - putting it in a folder with music she doesn't play anymore - oh that was a great ending. Bravo.

Oh, that was absolutely beautiful! It everything I wanted to happen, but so much better than I pictured! The way you intertwined the movements in the music with Maya's reflections was so tragically beautiful, and the ending was so hauntingly perfect. Thank you so much for writing this!
