Enjoyed the whole story!

This is really interesting. I am hoping that my reviews are posting...I think I will wait to see if they show up before pouring out my soul only to find that my reviews have been lost in transition.

That was brilliant. And twisty. I mean , really, a bowl of apples? Well, damn...now my brain cant decide. Even if Sherlock said its just a bowl. But John's been meeting Sherlock in their shelter...who then remembers nothing...so maybe it not really...oh...

Anything that messes with my brain this mich is awesome, so thank you for writing you sadistic person of awesomeness. :-)

Why?! Why?! Why did you put those apple? I can't stop thinkig about it, now! Was it a dream all along for John! You sadistic torturous author!

Good story by the way

I noticed that this fic is your most popular one but that's not why I wanted to read it. Song fics are my secret passion in this fandom and "Private Universe" happens to be one of my all-time favourite hope&comfort songs, so merging these two was like a dream come true for me! ;) Considering this, it's a shame I only managed to bump into it now, years later you wrote it... But from now on, whenever I hear the song, I'll see this story with a different kind of "shelter" in my head, thanks to you.

I was totally mesmerized by this universe and its fascinating possibilities. We've all sometimes wondered what it's like inside Sherlock's head and I guess now we know! ;)

I'm aware that the apple tree image comes from the song itself but it's such an apt symbol for John, as he truly is the apple of Sherlock's eye (and vice versa) and it has been widely used in the BBC show, too.

The whole "I am you" business with Moriarty was brilliant - his presence is damaging and as scary as hell even as a manifestation of fears... Glad you made Sherlock admit it to John in the end, too.

Loved the descriptions of the dream worlds and how the shelter scene changed according to mood. You managed to create a dreamlike atmosphere in your writing throughout the story, very beautiful!

I'm not a big fan of smut (although I do ship Johnlock) but I loved the twist of John coming along with Sherlock for the hunt because they just couldn't stay away from each other. Being each other's anchors in both dreams and reality... Or was it all just a dream, after all? *Hmmm*

Anyway, thank you for the great, thought-provoking AU experience! Now onto the sequel...

Awww. This is indeed a happy ending! :) The boys are home. Mrs Hudson is happy, Sherlock and John are happy. And in all that happiness there is that intruiging little idea of John and Sherlock still meeting up every night.

Oh, I like how Sherlock throws all logic away and just follows his emotions for a change. And then it gets hot quite fast...
It sounds like Sherlock will be able to remember this time. But will John, after Sherlock has messed with his head?

I can't say it's unexpected that Sherlock doesn't remember John. But it's still sad. Especially after John got him to embrace his darker self so completely. No more kissing any time soon, I suppose. So where is John? Still in Sherlock's head? In his own? Somewhere inbetween? (In the computer program? ;))

Yay! Kissing! But then not yay. Moriarty sounds as dangerous as ever. Or maybe even more as he seems in control of the dream.
I can finish the next chapter in four minutes, right? ;)

Woah! I thought it was somewhat strange to have John walking around Sherlock's dreams... but now it's outright frightening having Moriarty running around there as well... I really like the meadow with furniture and fireplace. :) Oh and I start to like Mycroft talking to John.
Also, one more chapter before going to sleep won't hurt, right? O:)
