tinydisk chapter 1 . 10/1/2013 Brilliant! Would love there to be more but it works so well as a one-shot. Well done! |
Moonprincess92 chapter 1 . 9/8/2013 I loved this story! A wonderful alternate take; I especially liked the last scene, when Darcy kept quoting her like he does in the book. :D |
Tatters5 chapter 1 . 2/26/2013 I NEEDED THIS SO MUCH. Absolutely loved the heck out of this story. |
EmlynMara chapter 1 . 2/24/2013 Yeah, Lizzie is right. All the videos are pretty incriminating. I thought Lydia leaving the drawings around to be highly amusing. And then her dad found one. He's missing out on an awful lot. Love her comment about making Darcy promise. Just imagining them thanking Ms. deBourgh... Nice job. |
nattylovesjordy chapter 1 . 2/24/2013 I've read this at least three times now, if not four. I stumbled upon it on a different site for the first two reads, and once I saw it was posted here I was super happy because I felt like I could finally review. Having read it three (maybe four) times, I can honestly say that the story is just as good the third (or fourth) time as it was the first. I love the variety, that there's some Lizzie/Lydia, Lizzie/Jane, and then the desired Lizzie/Darcy. I love that Lizzie hangs up on De Bourgh, I love that Darcy and Lizzie meet in a parking lot because I feel like it's a fantastic atmosphere for what goes on between them (the darkness and awkwardness/ambiguity when they first run into each other go hand in hand) and that she and Jane powwow in the bathroom afterwards because that seems very Lizzie/Jane (and reminiscent of the book and the 2005 P&P film). I love this: "If that's what you want," he says, his voice tight. "It's not," she says before she can stop herself. His head snaps up, but in the dim yellow light of the parking lot streetlamps, she can't make out the expression on his face. "I don't want that." It's how I imagine it looking and sounding. You set this tone and an atmosphere from the setting and everything leading up to the moment, and then when Lizzie says, "It's not," I cannot imagine it any other way than a rushed, short answer. I can't quite explain what I mean/what I envision, but you should know that I think it's perfection. Thank you for sharing this. I'm so glad I can favorite now since I'm a member on this site. |
Guest chapter 1 . 2/23/2013 Well written. Loved the story |
Whosepride chapter 1 . 2/23/2013 Loved it! The bit about posting the video a WHOLE 23 minutes late had me laughing. Thanks for sharing! |
addictedtochocolates chapter 1 . 2/23/2013 That was really, really cute. :3 and I loved how it was written and I'd be squealing at the ending if I wasn't with my parents hahahah! They already caught me FANGIRLING over the past episodes at pemberly and I don't think they'd appreciate me going crazy in public! :) |
