This was amazing, loved it all the way. I didn't saw the plot twist ending coming and loved/hated it. I don't think that Leon would have called Chris "man" but I enjoyed seeing this side of him. Thank you for making this.

I was reading back through stuff and ff and I realised that I hadn't reviewed ch 6... I thought, that's no good from your "biggest fan" lol. I love that you have a healthy dose of fluff, smut but also fantastic plot and you always make time for a bit of Nivanfield in each chapter, even when you're driving the plot forward. Chris finding some random place in a park was a bit well...random and perhaps a tad off the beaten track (no pun intended)...but the smut was really good. *grins* I know everyone has their own preferences for this pairing, but my Nivanfield ideal is exactly as you write. Keep writing. More please! I'm intrigued where the story is going.

This is getting really interesting. The emotional scene with Chris and Piers was incredibly touching and, yes! We have a love confession from Chris! I can’t help but think that Chris being a ‘killer’ is going to be in the back of Piers’ mind for awhile and it's gonna eat away at Chris by the looks of it. This story really is incredible. The characterisation is spot on since I could imagine the characters exactly the same as they are from the game (something that I cannot say of many fanfictions, as well written as they are). There’s also not enough military romances between Chris and Piers, since most of them seem to be just off the battlefield. Leon is a nice addition, of course. In between plot movement, it would be nice if we could have a sex scene again like we did in chapter one. This story is so perfect! *cries of happiness*

Oh my god! The things you do for love! Does Piers know what Chris did?! It would be interesting to see what his reaction when he knows that Chris murdered someone for him... Judging by the way he is presented in the games and the fact that he is in the BSAA, I think Piers would probably rather die than see an innocent man get killed for him. Very interesting turn this story is taking. You have my gripped. But despite everything, I am still rooting for this couple all the way.

Where's the love for this fic?! Guess the Nivanfield fandom has quietened down lately, but at least you know that I'm your biggest fan. :-) Loved chapter 3. Poor Piers! I'm so, so glad you decided to continue this story because this exactly what I look for in a well written Nivanfield - Chris and Piers are in character, the scenario is believable and it's not just another 'Piers survives the underwater facility' story. You must have read my mind because I was going to respond to your private message recommending exactly this - having Piers being all needy and wanting more from his Captain while Chris is trying to be all professional and doing what he feels is best as the Captain despite his own personal feelings. You really captured the issue here. It can't be easy having a secret romantic relationship with your captain/subordinate. You are truly a talented writer and this story deserves way more reviews. I hope to see more from you on this pairing and I still think you could continue this or write something new. More please!
