| Ilovebooksbutmoviesaregoodtoo chapter 1 . 10/23/2018 I usually don't leave negative reviews and I'm really sorry to say this, but this was a really bad and absolutely OOC fanfiction. It was so far from the original that it barely deserves to be called fanfiction at all. Don't get me wrong I'm not a homophobe or against Merthur as a pairing, however both Arthur and Merlin were so far removed from their original characters that this story seemed to me to be about your (sweet but terribly bland and one dimensional) own characters. When I read Merthur I wanna read a love story between ARTHUR and MERLIN not OCs. Arthur's character was not butchered as bad as Merlin but his wit and arrogance was completely missing. And Merlin is NOT a poor washed up damsel in distress, he is a fierce and powerful protector and even if you take away his magic and change the circumstances of his life, his inner strength should remain. I hate how you turned him into a weakling who covers and cannot even speak up for himself. |
