I saw this lovely animation just yesterday :D as usual, disney never ceases to surprise me with their superior... Wonderfullness.. XD anyway, I absolutely love this little retake. You captured the scenes and their emotions perfectly, and the writing is so beautifully fluent . I especially loved the whe Iroh wishing a magical day, I couldn't stop smiling asvI read this!

Wow, you have NO idea how happy I am that someone actually wrote a Zutara fic for that short...and an awesome one to boot! :)
When I say (type, whatever) awesome, I mean that it is beautifully written and very heart-felt. You can definately see the combination of the original Short and your own ingenuity thrown in for good measure. The fact that there's dialogue, for example. It's a great touch for a story and your selection of characters alongside it pushes the message home. I can actually SEE these people saying these things.
"And yet a promise had been made and a wish had been cast. And sometimes... someone would be listening and fate is ever ready to make the winds cast magic." I don't know if that is from somewhere else, but that line made me smile and was very touching...definately a Disney feel to it.
I loved the Short, ATLA, Zutara, and emotional writing, and you brought them together in a flawless peice of fiction. Very well done, and thank you for writing this _
P.S. I know that whole short was so cheesy, but the artwork, plot, humorous moments, and music made it very sweet. I couldn't help but chuckle when the character in the short opened his arms wide in a "WTF?!" gesture when the bird hit the plane right out of the way :P.

This is some of the best writing I've read in a long time! The narrative was just right, so I didn't get bored, but lyrical enough that it fit the whimsy of the piece.
