Yes, MM here ~is~ deluded (or Confunded, demented, or drugged - don't forget potions).
Otherwise she'd have realized long before now that the old villain ~did~ leave at least one helpless child at mortal risk for years in very abusive home (and school!) situations and then enslaved his adult self.

I do hope Poppy has paid the goblins a fee to mount a thorough investigation should she die or be rendered incompetent in any apparent way whatsoever; and that she tells AD about it.

I am sooooo sick of seeing stories that start out well and then get abandoned, usually right after the author promises an update "next week." (I used to forget about the "complete" label but now will read a really good though abandoned fic and finish it in my head.)

Yep I don’t like this Dumbledore either lol. He still refuses to acknowledge he was wrong the sad part is he could have stopped it decades ago and he refused now he wants to pike it all in the shoulders if a boy he broke.

I absolutely agree that there are not enough stories with Poppy. She is an under used character. The way she is portrayed in the books and movies leaves many avenues open for either good or bad stories. I have never liked Dumbledore, Ginny, Ron or Hermione. I would definitely read a sequel if you decided to write one.

When Harry's mother confirmed that if he fell asleep that he would die, why didn't Harry just say something along the lines of "Night, Mum. See you when I wake up." I mean, to be fair, all that Harry had known up until that point was abuse and hatred for something that he couldn't control, and it was only when he was close to dying that he knew love for the first time that he could actually remember. It would've been the most logical outcome of that situation. He had no idea that anyone except for his dead parents loved him!
